hello everyone,

we've just officially ended day 2 of the trip.

First off, thank you so much for keeping us in prayers! we had a good weather today and both events; the concert and the cell group bible devotion was a success!

We started our day, rehearsing for our concert. After which, we sat the legendary "song tiao" to pay 'pa mew' and her pig farm a visit.

We had lunch at Tachang church. It was an awesome meal prepared by christina. she has graciously cooked crabs for all of us!

In the early evening, we kickstarted our evangelisitc concert. Although it was our first major event, everyone gave their all. We played, we sang, we danced, we had fun! We sowed and believe that the seed of the gospel was planted into them. After Ryan led in the prayer to receive Christ, 4 hands were raised their hands to say that they have done so. After the concert we got an opportunity to counsel 2 of the children who raised their hands to receive Christ! Praise the Lord!

At night, we travelled to one of the church member's house for cell group. We had fried rice and phat seyu (fried kway teow Thai style) for dinner. After which we started with worship, followed by thanksgiving before Reuben shared his testimony with the rest of the group. Kenneth did a follow up with his well prepared devotion. Kudos to both of them for setting a great example to the rest of the team!

45 minutes ago, we just had our debriefing for the whole day. Thank you all so much for remembering us and encouraging us back in singapore!
